Project Description

A huge type of communique equipment are used for outside and inner communique. These equipment consist of mail, email, telephones, mobileular phones, smartphones, computers, video and internet conferencing equipment, social networking, in addition to on line collaboration and productiveness platforms. Communication is a dynamic culture- and society-centric process. With the upsurge in to be had way of persuasion with online marketing, entrepreneurs discover it challenging to use the perfect blend of communication equipment to sell and role their merchandise which could construct their loyalty in minds of clients and have interaction them correctly for longer courting building. While conventional communique equipment including newspapers, advertisements, and flyers are nonetheless used, new equipment including advergames have commenced developing their very own area of interest withinside the market.

Challenges and Solutions

To address the challenge of indoor mobile signal coverage in large commercial centers, DITO Telecommunity has commissioned us to install an Indoor Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at SM San Fernando Downtown. This project aims to provide comprehensive wireless signal coverage for customers and staff within the mall through an advanced distributed antenna system, ensuring high-quality network service even in densely populated areas.

Project Objectives

  • Enhanced Signal Coverage: Provide comprehensive signal coverage for every floor, shop, corridor, and underground parking area within the mall, ensuring users can enjoy smooth calls and data connections no matter where they are.
  • Increased Network Capacity: Ensure the communication network within the mall can handle the connection demands of high-density crowds during peak times and events, preventing network congestion and signal degradation.
  • Optimized User Experience: Through professional design and equipment installation, ensure that customers enjoy a quality network experience while shopping, entertaining, and working.

Project Scope and Implementation Plan

  • Site Survey and Requirement Analysis:
Conduct a detailed site survey, including analyzing the building structure of the mall, floor layout, and the shielding effects of building materials (such as concrete, glass) on signals.
Predict user behavior to identify high-traffic areas such as shops, public spaces, food courts, cinemas, and parking lots, ensuring key coverage for these areas.
Use signal strength testing tools for baseline evaluation to identify existing signal blind spots and weak coverage areas.
  • Network Design and Planning:
Design the layout of the Distributed Antenna System (DAS), determining the number and placement of antennas based on the site survey results to ensure even coverage in all areas.
Implement a hybrid DAS solution, including fiber transmission and RF amplification systems, to meet the needs of different areas in large buildings.
Seamlessly integrate with DITO’s core network, ensuring the indoor distribution system supports multiple standards (4G/5G) and future technology upgrades.
  • Equipment Installation and Configuration:
Deploy antennas, RF units, fiber optic cables, and signal amplifiers, ensuring all equipment installation adheres to building aesthetics and safety requirements.
Use high-performance fiber transmission equipment to ensure signal transmission quality, minimizing signal loss and delay.
Perform initial equipment tuning to ensure stable signal transmission, and monitor real-time performance through monitoring devices.
  • Network Optimization and Testing:
Use professional signal testing tools (e.g., field strength meters, spectrum analyzers) to perform comprehensive signal testing and network optimization.
Adjust for any blind spots or weak signal areas, fine-tuning antenna angles, amplifier power, and other parameters to ensure uniform and stable signal coverage.
Test user experience, including voice call quality and data connection speeds, to ensure the best possible user experience.
  • Project Acceptance and Post-Support:
After the system installation, conduct a comprehensive acceptance test and jointly review project outcomes with DITO to ensure all goals are met or exceeded.
Provide detailed technical documentation, maintenance guides, and arrange regular inspections and remote monitoring to ensure long-term system stability, supporting future capacity expansions and upgrades.

Project Advantages

Efficient Coverage: By optimizing antenna layout and using high-performance equipment, the project achieves seamless coverage throughout the entire mall.
Scalability: The DAS system is designed with flexible expansion capabilities, allowing for the addition of more antennas and equipment to meet future network capacity growth.
Multi-Operator Support: The system design includes reserved interfaces for multiple operators, allowing for future integration of other network providers as needed.
Long-Term Stability: With efficient equipment management and maintenance mechanisms, the system ensures long-term stable operation, supported by 24/7 remote monitoring and maintenance services.

This project not only significantly improves the internal network quality at SM San Fernando Downtown but also provides a better communication experience for users, further enhancing the mall's overall appeal and customer satisfaction.
